We all work with other people, either directly or indirectly. How individuals or colleagues work together matters and has a significant impact on each individuals’ well being as well as the quality of service provided to our patrons. If you are in a position of authority within a library, the way you lead and manage the people in your department, on your team, committee, or working group matters. Join seasoned leaders Cynthia Schwarz, John Sandstrom and Kellie Barbato to discuss practical tools to be a more compassionate leader and manager, whether it’s supervising direct reports, managing up to your boss or establishing general leadership and management priorities across the organization.
