Charge

This task force will:

  • Gather feedback from within the division to inform a new strategic plan.
  • Create a draft strategic plan and gather feedback from division membership.
  • Work with the Core Board of Directors to approve the new strategic plan and the implementation team for the plan.

Composition

The task force consists of Co-chairs Past President Angie Ohler and President-Elect Steve Kelley. They will appoint several other stakeholders (board members, bylaws committee representative, division committee chairs, and section leaders). The task force will exist for the 2025-26 year and will be replaced the following year by an implementation task force.

Deliverables

  • Finalized strategic plan including 3-5 specific, measurable, and time-oriented goals / work outcomes approved by Core Board of Directors.
  • Possible stakeholders/implementation group members identified.

Ongoing Work

  • July - November: gather information
  • December - January: Develop draft plan
  • February - March: Gather draft plan feedback
  • April - June: Work with the Core Board of Directors to adopt the new strategic plan.

Expected Member Time Commitment

  • Monthly one hour meetings
  • 1-2 additional hours per month on project tasks
  • One year commitment
