Does ALA have a Code of Conduct for conferences?

• Yes, please review the Statement of Appropriate Conduct at ALA Conferences, which all presenters and attendees are required to follow.

If my proposal is accepted, am I responsible for my own travel, accommodation, and registration fees?

• Yes, all presenters are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and registration fees. If you are a presenter on a program or poster accepted through the call for proposals, you are eligible for an exclusive registration discount.

What are the presentation formats? 

• The current plan is for programs and posters to be presented in person only. However, ALA reserves the right to hold Annual Conference virtually, in-person, or as a hybrid of both. Presenters/Moderators should be prepared to present in all formats and may be asked to consent to recording.
