50 State Salute Videos
Banned Books Week 2012 marks the 30th anniversary of the yearly celebration of the freedom to read. Many libraries, bookstores, schools, etc, have honored this week by displaying banned/censored books, hosting read-outs, and more. To commemorate this milestone anniversary, the ALA's Office for Intellectual Freedom coordinated the 50 State Salute to Banned Books Week. The 50 State Salute features videos from each state demonstrating how they celebrate the freedom to read. Click on a state below to view your state's playlist!
