Julia J. Brody Public Librarian Scholarship

About the Julia J. Brody Public Librarian Scholarship An annual scholarship consisting of $4,000 to a U.S./Canadian citizen or permanent resident who is pursuing an MLS specializing public library services in an ALA-accredited program.

This scholarship was made as a bequest from the estate of Julia Jussim Brody who began her distinguished career at the New York Public Library as a children’s librarian and, even while being an administrator, always retained her joy in children’s books and her concern with encouraging young readers.
