Ex Libris Student Writing Award
The award ended in 2020 when the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS) officially disbanded on August 31, 2020, to merge with two other American Library Association (ALA) divisions. It was consolidated into a new, unified division called Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures.
The purpose of this award is to recognize superior student writing and to enhance the professional development of students through publication of the winning manuscript in LITA's primary journal, Information Technology and Libraries (ITAL).
