What can always make you feel better after a bad day?

Homemade hot chocolate — and it has to be the good kind, made with chocolate morsels and oat milk. Truly, who doesn’t feel a little better with a warm cup of chocolate in hand?

If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Why?

Pink! I can’t look at pink without thinking happy thoughts. It’s such a powerful, joy-filled, energy-evoking color for me.

What was the single most influential event in your lifetime? Why?

The birth of my daughter. She had to be resuscitated and spent twenty minutes without oxygen, followed by a month in the NICU. Watching her grow has shown me an incredible amount of strength in such a small person. Every time I look at her, I’m reminded of resilience, courage, and how truly beautiful that strength is.
