In addition to a variety of continuing education and professional development programming, LibLearnX also hosts the annual Youth Media Awards (YMAs). The YMAs include ALSC Book & Media Awards, including the Newbery, Caldecott, and more!

ALSC National Institute

2022 ALSC National Institute in Kansas City, Missouri, from September 29 - October 1, 2022!

The ALSC National Institute is a two day learning opportunity focused solely on youth services librarianship. Smaller than an ALA Annual Conference, with approximately 300 attendees, the Institute is a great place to network with colleagues, attend practical child-focused programs, and meet the authors/illustrators you know and love. Institute is designed for front-line library staff, children's literature experts, education and library school faculty and other interested adults.
