Sibert Award 25th Anniversary Task Force

To identify and implement activities, which may include events and merchandise to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Sibert Medal and to educate people about the award. The celebratory activities would begin at LibLearnX in 2026 and may include outreach activities, online events and courses during the year. There would be recognition of the 25th anniversary during conference sessions and at the ALSC Awards at the ALA Annual Conference in Chicago in 2026. The celebration will culminate at the ALSC National Institute in October 2026 with conference sessions, an author/illustrator meal, and coordination with the Bill Morris Seminar.
