Diversifying ALSC Revenue Streams Task Force
Charge
1. To explore and evaluate viable new, and changes to existing, revenue streams for ALSC with an objective of recommending avenues to pursue that create, strengthen and diversify the organization’s finances, consistent with the organization’s mission and vision.
2. Recommendations are to focus on high value, high interest, proprietary content, and create an entrepreneurial culture among members and committees.
3. To regularly report to the ALSC Board through the duration of the project.

The Diversifying ALSC Revenue Streams Task Force consists of six (6) virtual members: four members appointed from the ALSC membership at large, one chair, and one member of the ALSC Budget Committee.
Term of appointment: August 2019 through the end of the 2021 Midwinter conference.
Established at the request of the Board of Directors.

- Process committees (non-award committees) are appointed in early spring (Jan-May)
- Award and evaluation committees are appointed in early fall (July-Oct)
- Replacement positions pop up and are filled throughout the year (ongoing)
The Vice-President/President-Elect begins making his/her process committee appointments in February/March. In August/September, after being seated as President, he/she will then begin filling fall appointments.
