To provide a forum for the discussion of technical services issues in public libraries, particularly those unique to public library operations, with the aim to encourage discussion of all aspects of technical services activities and to include all levels of technical services staff within public libraries.

Established in 2009 by a petition of the ALCTS membership.

Get Involved

ALCTS values committed and active members. All conference attendees are invited to join the conversations at the group's meetings. The group encourages participation in its ALA Connect space and attendance at both the Midwinter Meeting and Annual Conference each year.
