With journal prices forever spiraling up and materials budgets trending from flat to decreasing, choosing titles to deselect is a challenge many of us face on an annual basis. In this ALCTS e-Forum, we will discuss, among other topics, how widespread this issue is, what rubrics we use to make our decisions, models of decision making, and methods of communicating between various stakeholders and other groups both internal and external to the library.

Participants will learn rubrics and models of decision making in use at various institutions, and methods of communication among stakeholders, both within and outside the library.
