I sincerely doubt that many ALCTS members believe that the competencies they learned in library school, oh those many years ago, will carry them through to retirement, at least not without considerable enhancement and transformation. In this column I would like to take a few moments to focus on transforming our competenciesï¿Â½ and becoming competent in transformation. | MORE

Rapid change is something we have lived with for many years now. New constructs come and go and come and go.
