To SUBSCRIBE to ALAWON via the ALA List Processor:

  1. Send an e-mail message to listproc@ala1.ala.org.
  2. Leave the subject line blank (unless your e-mail program requires a subject line, then type "subscribe").
  3. As the first and only line of text in the message, type:
    subscribe ala-wo YourFirstName YourLastName
    (e.g., subscribe ALA-WO Melvil Dewey).

Send the message. You will receive e-mail confirmation of your subscription.

To UN-SUBSCRIBE via the ALA List Processor:

  1. Send an e-mail message to listproc@ala1.ala.org.
  2. Leave the subject line blank (unless your e-mail program requires a subject line, then type "unsubscribe").
  3. As the first and only line of text in the message, type: unsubscribe ALA-WO
  4. Send the message. You will receive e-mail confirmation when you have been successfully un-subscribed.
