STAFF ORGANIZATIONS ROUND TABLE (SORT)
Mission Statement
SORT is a Round Table of the American Library Association (ALA).
Its purpose is:
- to encourage the formation of staff organizations;
- to act as a clearing house for information about staff organizations;
- to bring staff organizations of library employees into closer relationship so as to foster mutual cooperation;
- to cooperate with all ALA units that are set up to study and act upon personnel matters.
