Since the dissolution of the Soviet Union over ten years ago, the libraries at Yerevan State University (Armenia), Baku State University (Azerbaijan) and Tbilisi State University (Georgia) have been struggling to purchase current materials from the West.
With the help of a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York, we are working to improve access to information at these three state university libraries. The book donations from these companies have been instrumental in making it possible to ship hundreds of much needed books that will support the growth and development of these important libraries in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
