Information Resources Associate

The International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) seeks an information resources associate to support ICRW's technical teams by acquiring, maintaining, and providing in a high quality, timely, and cost effective manner the information and resource materials needed daily for staff to successfully complete their assignments. The information resources associate will work with ICRW information technology and management staff to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of institutional information management and knowledge sharing. ICRW is a nonprofit organization that conducts policy-oriented research, provides technical assistance, and undertakes strategic communications and advocacy activities to improve the economic, health, and social status of women in the developing world. The information resources associate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining effective institutional information management systems and procedures and train staff in their use; manage all aspects of library services for a 10,000-item special library, including acquisitions and cataloging, budgeting, reference, and training of staff in electronic resources. The minimum requirements for this position are a master's degree in library science with a minimum of 2 years of experience; knowledge of current technologies and practices in the field of library and information science; experience with inMagic systems and/or bibliographic citation software such as EndNote/Reference Manager.
