Evaluation tool was developed by an MASL committee. It was sent to every principal and library media specialist in Maine at the end of 1998. Includes job description, preparation manuals for both the library media specialist and his/her supervisor, and a sample evaluation.

South Carolina ADEPT for Library Media Specialists

ADEPT is South Carolina's system for assisting, developing, and evaluating professional teaching. The ADEPT performance dimensions for library media specialists were approved by the South Carolina State Board of Education in June 2003. This site includes complete guidelines and materials for implementing the formal evaluation model.
