National Library Legislative Day
ALA’s Public Policy and Advocacy (PPA) team invites advocates to show up for America’s libraries on Capitol Hill for a two-day educational advocacy event.
National Library Legislative Day 2027 is co-hosted by ALA and the Chief Officers of State Library Agencies (COSLA) and will take place February 24-25, 2027, in Washington DC. The event combines advocacy education, networking, and in-person meetings with your legislators and congressional staff on Capitol Hill.
Registration opened on October 13 and will close November 25, 2026. Space is limited, so reserve your spot early!

Fees:
ALA or COSLA member: $175
Non-member: $245
Travel & Housing:
NLLD participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and lodging. ALA has a small block of rooms at the conference hotel available on a first come, first served basis.
