Learn and Earn: Nevada Libraries Harness Virtual 3-D for Education and Careers
Eighteen months ago, Nevada State Library launched an innovative, collaborative workforce development pilot project that uses 3-D virtual reality to engage participants in career exploration and instruction towards industry certification. Julius will meet with librarians across institutions as well as partners and stakeholders to discuss the impact of this project, its relevance to the current economic challenges faced by so many Nevada residents, and its potential for expansion.
