The ACRL/ULS Public Service Directors of Large Research Libraries Discussion Group is an active community of senior research library administrators responsible for research, instruction, information, outreach, and scholarly communications services. The ALA Annual meeting and other member-led online programs provide a forum for leaders to engage their colleagues in discussion of the current issues facing academic research libraries. Members of this community share aspirations and best practices, discuss and envision new programs and ways of working, and help one another shape new strategies and visions for academic research libraries.
