Charge
To promote effective leadership of academic library instruction initiatives, the committee designs and implements professional development that supports librarians leading or managing their local instruction environment. The Committee facilitates discussions about issues such as leading information literacy efforts on campus, developing staff, and planning for the future. As part of that work, the committee promotes the Section documents Roles & Strengths of Teaching Librarians and Analyzing Your Instruction Environment: A Workbook.
