Describe yourself in three words:

Kind, diligent, organized.

What are you reading (or listening to on your mobile device)?

I am an avid fan of historical fiction and read a lot about World War II. Currently, I am reading the Italian Girls by Debbie Rix. I enjoy Kate Quinn’s novels and am listening to Briar Club.

Describe ACRL in three words:

Engagement, relevant, innovative.

What do you value about ACRL?

ACRL provides engaging professional development opportunities for colleagues to discuss timely topics, such as AI, and explore ways to collaborate and innovate in various capacities. I enjoy applying ACRL learning experiences at my institution, especially information I have gleaned from my roles within the Academic Library Services to International Students (ALSIS) Interest Group. I also appreciate all of the leadership opportunities ACRL offers and have grown while serving in different positions, including within the Anthropology and Sociology Section (ANSS).

What do you as an academic librarian contribute to your campus?

As an academic librarian at Lehigh University, I seek partnerships and connections and use my organizational skills to facilitate these activities. I am delighted to collaborate with colleagues across campus on ICPSR’s Love Data Week activities. I also highlight my willingness to walk with students and faculty on the research journey and serve as a consultant for evidence synthesis teams.

In your own words

Meeting with students, faculty, staff, and community members provides opportunities to connect users with the incredible resources and services available via libraries. I dream of a world where library benefits generate excitement and celebration.
