ALA Divisions:
Curious, flexible, determined.
"The Keeper of Lost Things" by Ruth Hogan.
Professional, supportive, educational.
I value the opportunities to learn from, interact with and serve beside colleagues from other institutions.
I contribute to the learning environment on campus by providing information literacy instruction, collaborating on evidence synthesis projects and offering research support. I also provide guidance to the Pitt research community on accessing, using and interpreting bibliometric and altmetric data and indicators.
I see academic libraries as spaces that foster a culture of inquiry and lifelong learning. They are environments where curiosity is celebrated, innovative ideas are embraced and interdisciplinary connections are encouraged. Working at the University of Pittsburgh's Hillman Library fuels my appetite for knowledge as well as my passion for sharing this knowledge with others.
