Benchmark: Library Metrics and Trends
Benchmark: Library Metrics & Trends is the newest tool for data-driven planning and advocacy in academic libraries, and provides enhanced access to ACRL annual survey data from 1998-present. All US academic libraries have free access to complete the ACRL annual survey, view past survey responses, and view resources about the data, the annual survey, and how to use the tool.
Project Outcome for Academic Libraries
Project Outcome for Academic Libraries is a FREE online toolkit designed to help libraries understand and share the impact of essential library programs and services by providing simple surveys and an easy-to-use process for measuring and analyzing outcomes. Participating libraries are also provided with the resources and training support needed to apply their results and confidently advocate for their library's future. Project Outcome’s standardized surveys allow libraries to aggregate their outcome data and analyze trends by service topic, program type, and over time. For the first time, academic libraries can see how the outcomes of their programs and services compare across their institution, Carnegie Class, and nation.
Threshold Achievement Test for Information Literacy
The Threshold Achievement Test for Information Literacy (TATIL) is a simple, easy-to-use standardized test that measures the achievement of the information literacy education outcomes, regardless of a student’s major or research focus, across four modules which address learning across all the frames in the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy. TATIL reports help educators identify student areas of strength and areas that need improvement, supporting evidence-based decision-making and inform actions for strengthening student outcomes.
