Arts Programming Committee

Charge

To plan and provide one or more programs, events, or other offerings annually that support the professional growth and scholarly/creative endeavors of the Arts Section’s members, and that engage with current issues in academic visual and performing arts library work. Duties may include: soliciting ideas; identifying program topics; seeking, selecting, and communicating with speakers; planning for and requesting funds; promoting programs; and assessing programs.

The Arts Programming Committee was established by the Arts Executive Committee in 2026. The following Arts committees merged to form this new committee: Conference Program Planning Committee and Publications and Research Committee.
