Origin
The Arts Image Resources Discussion Group was established by the ACRL Board at the 2026 ALA Annual Conference.
Prior to that, the ACRL Image Resources Discussion Group (IRDG) was a division-level discussion group, which was approved by the ACRL Board at the 2024 ALA Annual Conference. The IRDG was formerly the Image Resources Interest Group (IRIG), which was an ACRL interest group from 2009-2024.
