STS Data Committee
Charge
To inform STS members of current data-related topics (e.g. data ethics, management, FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable), CARE (Collective Benefit, Authority to Control, Responsibility, Ethics), Open Data, etc.) by providing resources, professional development opportunities, and education. In addition, the committee provides guidance on STS member surveys and communicates planned surveys with STS Executive. The committee facilitates the archiving and storage of STS data, like surveys, into OSF.
