Start your ALA Conference in New Orleans the way it’s meant to…with a party! This year we're hosting a joint social with our compatriots in the social sciences, the Anthropology and Sociology Section (ANSS)! It's a great opportunity to mingle with old friends and to make some new ones too. Don't miss out on the fun!
Walking Directions: Start at Earnest Morial Convention Center 1. Head north on Convention Center Blvd toward Julia St - 0.2 mi 2. Turn left onto Girod St -0.2 mi 3. Destination will be on the right Map
The attitude is relaxed and the food is a mix of Louisiana favorites and L.A. taco truck. Their website claims that Lucy's has become a refuge for “misplaced surfers, gremmies, and ho-dads”. They’ll have to add “librarians” to that list after we get done with them!
