Charge
To provide a broad framework for discussing topics and exploring areas of development in the
field of Access Services including, but not limited to, circulation, information services, reserves, resource sharing, stacks maintenance, student worker supervision, leadership/management,
remote storage, and security. To develop and sponsor programs that foster education and
training opportunities, encourage networking and sharing of initiatives, and contribute to and promote an understanding of access services activities. To provide a national stage for library workers in access services and enhance the overall development of access services
conversations and programs within ACRL.
