Current ACRL Members
All ALA members have an ALA Connect account connected to their ALA login. You are automatically added to your ACRL interest group’s Connect space when you join that interest group as part of your ALA/ACRL membership.

As of August 2020, the AAMESIG had 415 members. Interest Group composition includes a convener and incoming convener.
The Asian, African, and Middle Eastern Studies Interest Group was established by the ACRL Board of Directors at the 2017 Spring Executive Board Meeting. Prior to this, the AAMES IG was the Asian, African, and Middle Eastern Studies Section (AAMES).
Beginning September 1, 2017, you can join the Asian, African, and Middle Eastern Studies Interest Group through your ALA membership record, and participate through the interest group's ALA Connect space and the ACRL electronic mailing list.
