Chapter Council List Administrator Guide
The ACRL Chapter e-mail list is hosted through ALA Connect. Please see the below instructions on how to add both ALA/ACRL members and non-members to your Chapters Council Connect space.
Chapter Council officers from this committee roster are automatically added to this space so no need to subscribe them each year. All other chapter leaders from individual state chapters will need to be added manually by you as list admin.
Please note that the content of this space is public (viewable to anyone with a Connect account), but only the leaders you give access to can create posts/message the list.
To Subscribe or Unsubscribe
- Send your Chapter's roster updates via email to Lauren Carlton at email@example.com
- From there, the list administrator will add you to the ALA Connect Space
Every ACRL Chapter should have at least one officer monitoring this list (there is no maximum); once we receive your new roster updates, we will remove old leaders. If you would like to be removed before your term is up, send an email to Lauren Carlton, firstname.lastname@example.org.
When sending an email to the list address ALA-ACRL-Chapters@connectedcommunity.org, please make sure you are already a member of the Connect Space and you are sending your email from the email address associated with your Connect account.
