When you make a gift to the American Library Association, you help give a voice to libraries and library workers across the country. ALA works with libraries at the state, local, and national level to ensure equal access to information for all.

Monthly giving and installments

Break up your gift into monthly installments. Installment gifts are charged automatically to your credit or debit card for your convenience. Contact the Development Office to set this up at development@ala.org.

Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)

To make a gift to ALA through a donor-advised fund (DAF), select American Library Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Suite 1300, Chicago, IL 60601. You may direct your donation to a specific ALA Division, Office, or Roundtable, or simply note ALA. Unrestricted gifts allow ALA to address urgent needs.
