If so, take advantage of the Sharjah Library Conference- Sharjah International Book Fair Purchase Program
The 5th Sharjah Library Conference, November 6-8, is held in conjunction with the Sharjah International Book Fair in the United Arab Emirates. The Sharjah International Book Fair is the 4th largest in the world, and the pre-eminent book fair for Arabic language materials (and also includes over one hundred of publishers of South Asian languages)
If you purchase $20,000 USD worth of books at the Book Fair you will receive reimbursement for round-trip economy airfare and 3 nights of hotel.
If you purchase $10,000 worth of books and other materials, you will receive reimbursement for 3 nights of hotel.
One additional staff member is eligible for reimbursement for each level reached.
The following applies to reimbursement:
- Airfare reimbursement not to exceed 5000 AED (1,400 USD, 1,300 EUR)
- Hotels should be in Sharjah.
- The amount will not exceed 2000 AED (550 USD, 500 EUR)
- Submit invoices for purchased books/items and paid hotel invoices to SIBF Finance office at Sharjah expo enter or at Sharjah Book Authority after close of Book Fair.
- Sharjah Library Conference participation is required.
