Description & History
The first Monday of every October is World Day of Bullying Prevention®!
Bullying Awareness Prevention Day was established to shed light on the issue of bullying and encourage individuals and communities to take action in prevention. The day serves as a reminder of the importance of creating a safe, inclusive environment for all individuals. The day encourages individuals, schools and communities to take action in preventing bullying and promote kindness, respect and empathy. Over the years, Bullying Prevention Awareness Day has grown to be a nationwide event to raise awareness and empower those who are standing up to bullying.
