One-time Donation to the AASL Distinguished Service & Award Scholarship Fund

AASL’s Distinguished Service Award & Scholarship Fund honors school librarians with a sustained record of service and supports the development of future leaders ensuring every school librarian is a leader, every learner has a school librarian.

Monthly Support

Support the AASL Distinguished Service Award & Scholarship fund with a recurring monthly donation. There is no time commitment and recurrences can be turned off at any point in time by accessing your account. Currently you must have PayPal account to set up recurring donations. The Friends of AASL program was created to ensure excellence in service to the profession and to support growth and viability in the future.

How to set up a PayPal account

PayPal offers a secure payment method that can connect to a bank account, but also to a credit card which will enable you to still collect eligible card reward points. Signing up is free, there are no transaction fees, and your financial information is behind a single secure login. Steps to set up a PayPal account:

1. Visit PayPal Get Started Page

2. Follow the steps:

a. Enter phone number

b. You will receive a code to confirm your number- enter code

c. Set up profile (email, name, password).

d. Enter address and confirm you are 18 years old

e. Under the "Buy with confidence" section, click the "Get Started" button (but note that you can add your credit card information at a later time)

f. Enter the credit card, or you have the option to "Link to a bank instead" (link under credit card fields)

g. Click "Link Card" and you ALL SET!

3. Go back to the monthly donation option through Donorbox to set up your monthly donations by selecting PayPal and following the steps.
