Children's Notable Lists
Each year the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) identifies the best of the best in children's books, recordings, videos, and computer software. Use the links below or on the menu at the left to access current and past children's notable lists. See below for links to the terms and criteria for each medium, a committee list for each notable list, and submission forms where applicable.

Instructions for Submitting Media
To submit works for consideration for ALSC's Notable Children's Lists:
- Review the terms and criteria for the award (see links below).
- Send one copy of the work to the ALSC office (50 East Huron, Chicago, IL 60611-2795). Please indicate for which award the submission is intended.
- Submit one copy of the work to the Notables committee chair (see links below). You have the option of sending a copy of the work to each committee member, but it is not required.
Deadline for submitting works is December 31 of the publication year for all notables.
