Each year, the Popular Paperbacks committee creates lists of books to encourage young adults to read for pleasure. The lists of popular or topical titles are widely available in paperback and represent a broad variety of accessible themes and genres.

Nominations for the 2016 list will be posted May 1. In the meantime, suggest a title based on this year's themes:
Fairy Tales Retold: Once Upon a Twisted Time:  This list highlights retellings of both familiar and lesser known fairy tales in a variety of settings and genres.
Get Graphic: Graphic Novels:  The possibilities are endless with graphic novels! From Fiction to Non Fiction, these titles transcend genre and offer a little something for everyone.
Post-Apocalyptic: It's the End of the World As We Know It:  Post-apocalyptic novels are at the height of popularity. This list features books that focus on life in the aftermath of worldwide destruction.
Unreliable Narrators: Don't Believe a Word:  These stories have serious plots twists, untrustworthy narrators and enough bumps and turns to surprise even the most jaded reader.
