Popular Paperbacks for Young Adults 1997

YALSA is pleased to announce the arrival of Popular Paperbacks! In its first year, the YALSA Popular Paperbacks Committee has produced five topical booklists for young adults ages twelve to eighteen:

Popular Paperbacks is a reincarnation of the topic committees, but broader in scope. Since the topic booklists were still current, the committee decided to tackle five topics of interest to a variety of teens in lieu of any specific topic.

Part of a young adult s growth often includes soul searching. These books were selected to both inspire a young adult and to offer a look into some of the different religions of the world.
