About the National Forum on Libraries & Teens
The Forum was a year-long grant funded effort that brought together key stakeholders from the areas of libraries, education, technology, adolescent development and the for-profit and nonprofit sectors to explore the world of young adults and library services to this population, and ultimately produce a report which provides direction on how libraries need to adapt and potentially change to better meet the needs of 21st century teens. The "Future of Library Services for and with Teens: a Call to Action" report was published in January 2014, and a project evaluation was conducted in spring 2014. A final grant report was submitted to IMLS in 2015. Grant funding was generously provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services. For more information, please visit the Grant Proposal page.
