Gail Guidry Griffin

Gail Guidry Griffin is a Trustee at Shreve Memorial Library in Shreveport, La. She has served as Trustee at Large and Trustee Section Chair for United for Libraries. She has also chaired the United for Libraries Public Library Association Conference Committee and has served as co-chair of the United for Libraries Legislation, Advocacy & Intellectual Freedom Committee and the United for Libraries Awards Committee. In addition to being a public library Trustee, she is a librarian/library media specialist at A.C. Steere Elementary School in Shreveport. She has a B.S. and M.S. from Grambling State University, an M.L.S. from Louisiana State University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in library studies/curriculum and instruction.
