I am the Director of a rural four-county regional library system. Not only am I a librarian, but have also served as a trustee on the Arkansas State Library Board from October 19, 2004-November 3, 2011; Vice Chair, 2006 and Chair, 2007-2008. I regularly attend ALA’s National Legislative Day and participate in our State's efforts to gain support at the national level.

Statement of Professional Concerns/Aspirations if Elected:
As Past President, I am aware of the need for United for Libraries to obtain greater financial stability and increased membership. I would appreciate the opportunity to work with the leadership of this Division to guide United for Libraries as it continues to evolve and improve in its service to library advocates.
