Leadership Institute Application

 

The 2013 ALA Leadership Institute Application is now available. The deadline for submission of the application and supporting materials is May 10, 2013

Applicants may nominate themselves or be nominated by their employer.

Applicants must complete all five sections of the application form:

  1. Applicant Information
  2. Applicant Employer Information
  3. Applicant Demographic Information
  4. Applicant Personal Statements
  5. Attachments – current resume/CV and employer letter of support

The form should be completed in one sitting since information is not saved.  It is best to have your personal statements already written so you can paste them into the form.

If you are nominating an employee, you will complete the first two sections one of the application form and submit.  The person will be notified that he/she has been nominated and sent a link to complete the application.

January 14        Application form opens

May 10            Deadline for submission of application and supporting   materials

June 7            Applicants notified of selection results

June 14           Selected applicants confirm their Institute participation

June 21           Announcement of Leadership Institute cohort

June 28-July 2    ALA Annual Conference, Chicago

July              Pre-Institute work for participants

August 12-15      Leadership Institute, Chicago
