Illinois Digital Environment for Access to Learning and Scholarship (IDEALS)

IDEALS collects, disseminates, and provides persistent and reliable access to the research and scholarship of faculty, staff, and students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Faculty, staff, and graduate students can deposit their research and scholarship - unpublished and, in many cases, published - directly into IDEALS. Departments can use IDEALS to distribute their working papers, technical reports, or other research material.

The ALA Library Research Round Table (LRRT)

LRRT contributes toward the extension and improvement of library research; to provide public program opportunities for describing and evaluating library research projects and for disseminating their findings; to inform and educate ALA members concerning research techniques and their usefulness in obtaining information with which to reach administrative decisions and solve problems; and expand the theoretical base of the field.

Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE)

ALISE aims to promote innovation and excellence in research, teaching, and service for educators and scholars in Library and Information Science and cognate disciplines internationally through leadership, collaboration, advocacy, and dissemination of research.

American Educational Research Association (AERA) Measurement & Research Methodology section

The group aims to promote excellence in the design, execution, and dissemination of research on educational measurement, methodology, psychometrics, and interpretive and statistical and mixed methods and applications.

ASIST Library Technologies (LT) (virtual) SIG/LT

The group focuses on the analysis, planning, management and use of innovative technology in library operations and networking. International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA) Library Theory and Research Section

The Section on Library Theory and Research concerns itself with the continuing development of library and information science through theoretical and applied research in all aspects of the discipline.

World Education Research Association

The World Education Research Association is an association of national, regional, and international specialty research associations aimed at advancing education research as a scientific and scholarly field.

International Relations Committee (IRC)

The IRC is a standing committee of the association that seeks to foster attention to international research on education within the association and to encourage participation of education researchers worldwide in AERA activities.
