Patron Technology Training in U.S. Public Libraries

Public libraries are both an access point and a learning center for people who need training on how to use computers and navigate the Internet. This training is increasingly essential to gain or upgrade computer knowledge for new employment opportunities. Nationally, 89 percent of public libraries provide formal or informal technology training to library patrons.
