Beyond Web Page Analytics: Using Google Tools to Assess Searcher Behavior Across Web Properties (2015 LITA Forum Preconference)
The Beyond Web Page Analytics preconference at the 2015 LITA National Forum addressed the use of custom tracking code and meta tags on web interfaces; use of Google’s Universal Analytics, Tag Manager, and Webmaster Tools; and considerations for how Google data compares to vendor stats, how data can be normalized using Tag Manager, and how data can help organizations make better decisions.

- Better understand how using Search Console can improve the user experience with the library’s web presence.

- Retrieve and utilize data collected by Universal Analytics to drive data-based decisions.
