iMIS

What is it?

ALA platform for managing our Members, Staff and Prospects.  Tracks contact information for every member, as well as every point of engagement through Activities. 

What will we learn?

Learners run reports, find records, understand basic Member Management (paid-thru Billing and some Demographics), work with Committees and run standard reports manage committees, track webinar & event attendance, donations, purchases, web access and more. Full users are capable of adding Prospect records to the database as well as create new committees in iMIS.

Drupal

What is it?

Platform for content creation and publication for ala.org sites.

What will we learn?

How to create content, upload images and files, make relative and absolute links, and more.

Informz

What is it?

Platform to send blasts for E-mail marketing.

What will we learn?

Import a list of subscribers; Look at and understand ALA templates and story layouts within Informz. Assemble, test and send a mailing; work with HTML and text versions of content; Create Compound list / exclude Opt-Outs.

ALA Connect

What is it?

Platform where ALA members and staff collaborate to get things done, learn for professional growth and connect for professional opportunities.

What will we learn?

Search for groups, search for members, update our profiles, add content including files, discussions, chat, polls and more.
