1999 Annual Meeting Minutes

Linda Thompson called the meeting to order and asked for approval of the Agenda. It was given.
Approval of the Midwinter 1999 meeting minutes was deferred until Monday, June 28.
Frances Roehm has resigned from her office of Member-at-Large. David Tyckoson will complete her term.
Three programs were proposed for the Annual Conference 2000 and approval granted. These are: 1) Catalog Use, "Is MARC dead?" 2) Management of Reference, "Reaching Users and Adding Value: Reference Services in the Online Environment? 3) Services to Adults, "A Place for Place": The Non-virtual Library in a Virtual Age?
Barbara D'Angelo described her work on the MOUSS web site -- http://www.west.asu.edu/bdangelo/mouss/index.html . She asked for Committee Chairs to send program handouts to her to post on the web site. Committee information is to be sent to Ellen Safley to be edited and then forwarded to Barb. There was discussion about archiving MOUSS documents, but no decision was made.
