BRASS Program Planning Committee

Establishment
Established in 1988.

Purpose
To plan and produce the Section's annual Conference program.

Composition
There shall be at least seven (7) members appointed by the BRASS Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect. The Committee chair needs to have had RUSA or BRASS program planning experience.

Term of Office
A program committee is appointed by each newly elected BRASS Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect immediately after the beginning of his/her term in office, and two years before the Annual meeting for which the committee will plan the BRASS pro gram. Members of the committee are all appointed for a two-year term.

Specific Duties

  • To choose a program theme, subject to the approval of the Executive Committee.
  • To determine the content, format, and speakers for the program.
  • To provide cost estimates and budget for the program.
  • To work in concert with the Division and Association staff on all matters relating to the program.
