Notes and policies on the BRASS Archives Content:

  • Includes titles and descriptions of BRASS activities from each year (e.g. ALA Conferences, Discussions, etc.), in whatever form that takes.

  • Includes creative and educational BRASS webpages, which have not been updated in three years.

The original URL for old webpages does not change.

  • Excludes official documentation (e.g. the Handbook and Bylaws), and Publications (their respective pages already have archives).
  • Excludes content that has not been digitized, since BRASS has been in existence since 1988.

  • Gradually, the BRASS Archives will link to the supporting documentation (i.e. handouts, presentation slides, A/V files, etc.) from discrete BRASS activities.

Supporting documentation will reside in ALA Connect, where each BRASS Committee or Group is responsible for their own content.

Committees or Groups who want to put references to their supporting documentation in the BRASS Archives can email the webmaster.
